Friday 14 July 2023 Whole School Well-being Day 2023 On Tuesday 11th July 2023 we held our annual whole school well-being day at Birchgrove Comprehensive. Special thanks go to Mrs Davies head of PE who liaised with staff, pupils and outside agencies to bring us a well organised event the pupils seemed to thoroughly enjoy! Each form class had 5 different one-hour well-being sessions to show our pupils that there are many different forms of activities that can be both beneficial and harmful to our well-being.

Friday 21 April 2023 Cook with Leon - A Master Chef in his own right! Yesterday we had the great pleasure of welcoming Leon Lewis to our Food Technology department! We are very grateful that Leon volunteered his precious free time to spend the morning with our year 11 Hospitality and Catering pupils as they near the end of their course and spend their final few weeks with us before they sit their exams and progress to the next step of life's journey into the 'big world'.

Tuesday 6 December 2022 Year 7 Breakfast Club Survey for parents and pupils Our school is taking part in a Welsh Government trial. Pupils in Year 7, who get free school meals, have an extra £1 on their school meal accounts. This additional £1 breakfast allowance is for pupils to buy breakfast in the morning, leaving them with enough money to buy lunch at midday.
